A recent multi million pound restoration of the historical Walton Hall has now restored the Hall back to its former glory and has created a venue that embraces the essence of modernity whilst retaining a feeling of traditional style.
Sitting in 65 acres of beautiful English countryside, just 10 minutes off the M40, lies Walton Hall & Hotel. Following a multi-million pound investment programme, 2 unique venues now reside on one glorious estate – Walton Hall and Walton Hotel.
Walton Hall is the original building and has a fascinating past dating back to 1500 when the Mordaunt family created their ancestral home. If walls could speak they would tell of royal love affairs and society gatherings, of toil and craftsmanship to the highest degree – scenes that are only bestowed upon such beautiful quintessential English stately homes.
7 executive meeting rooms have been created, ideal for board meetings, small conferences and training sessions for up to 30 guests. With contemporary furnishings and up to date facilities, all rooms benefit from natural daylight, WI-FI and with views overlooking the grounds. The Director’s Suite is perfect for executive board meetings.
Tables are set with refreshments and crystal water glasses and comfort is assured with leather high-backed chairs with arms. Plasma LCD screens are installed for use with a laptop and a unit with complimentary chocolate and cans of fizzy drink is available in most rooms. A Tea/Coffee Station where unlimited drinks are served all day, along with homemade biscuits in the morning and homemade cakes in the afternoon, is available for guests use.
Adjoining the Hall is the Courtyard Suite, accommodating up to 180 guests theatre style. Situated on the ground floor , the suite offers its own entrance or is accessible through the Hall. Contemporary in style, the room benefits from lots of natural daylight from the patio doors, which open onto the Terrace area, making it ideal for pre-dinner drinks, coffee/tea breaks or summer BBQs. It also offers cloakrooms and private bar facilities. The Courtyard Suite has an outdoor open area at the front of the room, which is ideal for car launches or exhibitions.
Walton Hall offers The Moncreiffe Restaurant for dining, traditional in style with beautiful views that overlook the manicured grounds. Original features such as crystal chandeliers, 15th century antiques or an open fireplace adorn the rooms. Awarded 2 AA Rosette.
When it comes to staying within Walton Hall, a selection of 37 premium rooms and suites are available. Each room is individually decorated in soft neutral tones, complemented with vibrant colour touches by either a feature wall or luxurious soft furnishings. Spacious and contemporary in style, mini fridges and dark wood antique furniture or modern dark wood furnishings, both of which complement the age of the Hall. Many rooms offer stunning views overlooking the lake and the gardens.
In addition to the bedrooms in the Hall we also have 19 Coach House rooms which are a short walk from reception and offer many of the above facilities.
