The Angel Hotel Today
During 1999 the hotel underwent a massive refurbishment programme which included the reception, main lobby, lounge, cocktail bar and restaurant areas. The overall aim of the refurbishment was to create a more modern feel in the hotel however still maintaining the traditional style and grandeur of the always impressive foyer area.
In the past five years every conference room has benefited from redecoration.
During the autumn of 2004, 47 bedrooms were completely refurbished and again a more modern feel was introduced into the hotel.
2003 saw the added benefits of disabled access to the ground floor and further refurbishment of the bedrooms.
